2006
CCS Consulting was formed by the Directors and Shareholders.
2007
The Company was awarded its first city centre tower development project, providing its structural consultancy to the ensuing development of the Margolis Building based in central Manchester.
2008
CCS Consulting formed its in-house special projects department, serving to an events / entertainment market, a niche sector.
2009
The Company was awarded membership to the NHS Consortium for Healthcare and won a five-year framework contract with Blackpool Fylde & Wyre NHS Trust.
In addition, the Company secured a major flagship heritage project, providing its services to the Grade 1 listed Liver Building.
2010
CCS Consulting established its Masters Graduate Intership Scheme. The company also established its Graduate Training Programme in accordance with the IStructE Training Scheme.
In addition, the Company retained engineer commissions for several blue-chip clients.
2011
The Company relaunched its website and generated a turnover of £250k for the first time.
2013
As the business experienced sustained growth, the Company’s team expanded to five permanent employees.
In addition, the Company’s current Technical Lead joined the business.
2016
To accommodate for the Company’s growth, CCS Consulting relocated to its current premises and began operating with a workforce of 10 employees.
2017
CCS Consulting secured its £10 million-valued professional indemnity, allowing the Company to work on more prestigious projects worth in excess of £20 million.
2018
Two members of the Company’s Graduate Training Scheme achieved Chartered Engineer Status.
In addition, the Company invested in REVIT software, enabling the interaction of accurate 3D models of its clients’ building infrastructure.
2019
Leeds branch opens.

CCS is an Engineering practice providing Civil and Structural consultancy services, with extensive experience in the design and construction of infrastructure, buildings and associated work. We are also highly skilled in the field of Specialist / Bespoke, and Temporary / Demountable Structures. Our Manchester Teams are based in Spinningfields in Manchester City Centre, with our Leeds City Centre Office at East Parade, and our London office in Covent Garden. Our teams have recently worked on a number of high profile schemes across the UK and Europe.

In 2021, we celebrate our 15 year Anniversary. This landmark achievement for the business is the result of the combined efforts of every individual that has contributed to the CCS Team over the years. What began as an idea for a company over a coffee, has now grown to an established Engineering Consultancy which has completed over 2000 successful projects. From Healthcare to Retail, Industrial to Residential, Commercial to Events, CCS has grown into a business which services clients across the whole of the UK and beyond.
